Shrek the Third (Shrek the Third) is a CGI movie of Chris Miller and Raman Hui released in 2007. The film was produced by Jeffrey Katzenberg for DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures. It was originally released in the United States 18 May 2007 (cell six years after the first film). Although the film has received some criticism mixed, gross income is estimated at 798,958,162 dollars , making this film a commercial success.

Shrek the Third is preceded by Shrek and Shrek 2 , from a fairy tale of William Steig , by DreamWorks SKG in 2007 and followed by the fourth and final film Shrek 4.

Summary

/ / Synopsis

After the death of the king, Shrek and Fiona are forced to rule the kingdom of Far Far Away. However, if they can find Arthur Pendragon a worthy heir to the throne and bring him back to the kingdom, they can return to their swamp.

What follows reveals key moments in the plot.

Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots then go on their side, leaving only the castle Fiona and thank you for a coup of Prince Charming who, determined to rule the kingdom, removes, with the help monsters and villains of fairy tales, all people who oppose him ...

  • The film has been criticized in Quebec , as it was dubbed into Parisian slang , making it sometimes incomprehensible to speakers of Quebec. The ADQ , supported by the Union of Artists , has even proposed a bill requiring all films shown in Quebec soil to be dubbed in Quebec, just as one finds in France. However, the bill was not passed, fearing a boycott of film producers, as DreamWorks .
  • A final installment, "Shrek 4, it was an end", was released in 2010.

  • Monty Python and the Holy Grail : The first scene shows Prince Charming riding his horse and go to save his princess. We see later that he is actually playing in a room, riding a wooden horse and the clatter of hoofs was done by two coconut hit against one another by a person. This technique is found in Foley Holy Grail: The film's budget is "too low to buy horses, these horses have been replaced by a servant after the knight and banging coconuts.
