The commerce retail purchases products from a supplier , a producer or importer , either directly or through a wholesaler. He sold the goods to the unit or small quantity at a customer in a store, shop or by mail using a catalog or a website. This is the final link in the chain of distribution. It is thus distinguished from wholesalers.

A concept store is a new organization of the sale appeared in the mid-1990s, based on a thematic rather than a range of products. It is more directed products through a lifestyle or image.

The stores are generally popular outlets of average size (sales area of between 600 and 2000 m2). Factory Outlets
The name of factory outlet can be used by producers who sell directly to the public part of their production in their unexpired distribution channel or the subject of return. These direct sales only relate to productions of the previous marketing season, justifying a sale at reduced price.

Drive
A drive is a retail store without a sales area, which the customer places an order from a list (paper, internet, ..) and comes to retrieve his car control.

The e-commerce affects the traditional trade by facilitating access through Internet , catalog products store.
