Roman Forum
The forum is for the Romans in the public square where people gathered to haggle, deal with political or economic affairs. The first forum is that of Rome , the Forum Romanum (Roman Forum), dating from the time of the founding of the city.
During the territorial expansion of Rome, colonies were created in the image of the metropolis, with the same institutions and even urban planning. So each had its forum.
These forums were designed as architectural complexes for the rich, always with one or more temples, art galleries, many shops, school (sometimes) and sometimes a library.
