Podium Architecture
A podium is architecture a masonry high above the ground and supporting one or more buildings.
It features a staircase making accessible the top plane. The temples were often Roman mounted on a podium (for example, the Maison Carree in Nimes ).
It is also the platform on which ride the winners of a sporting event. Show trophy.
