Pixaa
The pixao or pichao is a form of graffiti was born in So Paulo in the 1960s Typography The letters of the alphabet used by Pixadores have a style straight, vertical, reminiscent of the runes of the ancient Germanic peoples. The shape is inspired by those letters of the Latin alphabet, used in Brazil, but is detached by a stylistic work on the shape of the letter. As with most tags , the layman is not able to read the Pixo. Conversely, some street children in So Paulo do not read Portuguese but know pixos decipher. The reason for the development of this alphabet consists of the conditions under which the pixao is exercised. On the one hand acrobatics which engage their authors call for certain geometries, on the other hand the use of paint roulot is facilitated by an angular path, a style honed . The pixao is certainly practiced on all media that is known in Europe and North America, but it has also invaded the facades of buildings in So Paulo. Get in the middle of the facades is especially dangerous and requires the management of urban climbing, in the absence of any safety equipment . Another specialty of the crews of Pixadores is the construction of human scale, which allows writing to several meters in height without any equipment where the wall offers no possibility of escalation.
