Paella Chimicos
Born in France in the "9-3" in 1962, Paella Chimicos appeared on the scene of young painters in the mid 80s.
This pseudonym stigmatizes its status as the son of Spanish immigrants, is the anagram of his name: Michael Palacios.
According to his own term, he practiced a "deliberate representation" that is between Supports / Surfaces and Figuration. As a tool of representation, it uses a character devoid of facies, the elastic members in the limited space enclosed by the edges of the canvas highlighted text. We find this guy head spiral to the thousands of posters screenprinted Paella that was stuck in Paris since 1985. His sense of humor to everything-goes into social criticism earned him recognition from the public and his peers of the Urban Art.
The combination of the words in the image is constant in the work of paella.
Since 1999 he signed "Paella? "Because the agency image and a phrase in a sententious form clear and reciprocal interfered doubt in the viewer as to its interpretation.
