Oss is a municipality in the Netherlands in the province of North Brabant , Oss town, formed by four former municipalities and a large number of localities. The town is unique in that three of its towns are towns: Megen , and Oss Ravenstein.

History of the town of Oss
Some archaeologists have found in the territory of Oss the funerary remains of the Bronze Age , the Iron Age and Roman times , indicating four centuries of habitation.
In the seventh century , Willibrord of Utrecht , Apostle of the Netherlands , stayed in the area. His stay is the memory of St. Willibrord wells at the south of Oss. The current well of this name is more recent.
Oss is an early regional center. In 1350 the resort was right on throwing the surrounding villages and in 1399 , the town received its town charter of the Duchess Joanna of Brabant.
