Miss Van, whose real name is Vanessa Bensimon Alice, born in 1973, is a graffiti -artist Toulouse.
She began painting in the street at the age of 18 years in the early 1990s. His innovative style contrasts with urban art, traditionally masculine. It is exposed throughout the world, from Paris (at Galerie Magda Danysz ) in New York , Los Angeles , Barcelona or Manila.
His influences range from figuration free to pin-up 1950's through the comics of Vaughn Bode and religious imagery.
His work has evolved over time. The line has been refined and the design has won details. The "dolls" stylized beginnings have become more realistic, dark and expressive.
