Macellum
A macellum is a market in Roman times. He presented himself as a confined space with a single entry, and included a number of locations, with stalls stone for present goods.
Its existence favored urban life by organizing trade: often, the available macellum of measurement standards , which was found engraved in the stone (length measurements).
