America
- Classical period of civilization Maya (300-900) in Chiapas and Yucatn. A civilization more or less evenly spread throughout the Mayan territory, characterized by strong Mexican influences. The large ceremonial centers such as Palenque , Tikal and Copan are high at this time.
- The Maya practiced intensive agriculture, with terraced fields, which produce corn, beans, squash, peppers and root crops.
- Barrancoid cultural tradition in the lower Orinoco (c. 300 - 600 ) Black Africa
- The nomadic Hottentot (Koi-Koin) settled in southern Africa.

- The Buddhism in Korea appears.
Middle East
- Decline of the kingdoms of Saudi happy. The caravan trade land is replaced by maritime trade for the benefit of the Kingdom of Axum.
- Introduction of Christianity in Georgia. It allows, through the numerous monasteries and schools, a development and dissemination of Georgian culture.
Europe
- The Roman Empire continued to dominate the entire Mediterranean basin. Sharing (subsequently became final) in 395 between Western Empire and Eastern Empire.
- Conversion of the Roman Emperor Constantine I in Christianity ( 312 )
- The Gothic kingdom of Ermanaric extends from the Baltic to the Black Sea. He succumbed under the pressure of the Hun Empire between 370 and 380.
- Increased production of iron in Northern Europe, perhaps due to the rise of small kingdoms ( Bohemia , Schleswig-Holstein and southern Poland ).

- Culture -Tcherniakhiv Sintan of Ukraine to Moldova and Transylvania , to the lower Danube (small fibula of sheet bronze or silver). Under the pressure Hun, Eastern Germanic elements appear suddenly in the late fourth century and early fifth century in Pannonia and in the valley of the Tisza.
