Historically the club played its matches in the Estadi de Sarri , which had a capacity of 43,000 spectators. It hosted the football World Cup in 1982 and the championship football games at the 1992 Summer Olympics. It was demolished in 1997, 74 years after its inauguration, because of economic problems of the club.
Until the 2008/09 season the club played its matches at the Olympic Stadium Lluis Companys in Montjuc , the stage of Olympic Summer Games of 1992 in Barcelona.
