Bicycle Wheel
Bicycle wheel is a work of the artist Marcel Duchamp , created in Paris in 1913. Composed of metal and painted wood, it is a wheel bicycle (without tire) fixed by his fork on a wooden stool. The original work was lost, and Marcel Duchamp created replicas in the early 1960s.
Using manufactured objects, and he created the first ready-made , in an approach that involves the relocation of manufactured objects into works of art, which gave birth to many artistic tendencies.
