Brurier Black (also called Beru or Brus and Short BxN) is a lighthouse scene punk and alternative French of the 1980s , mainly composed of two members: Loran (Lawrence Katrakazos) on guitar and Fanfan (Francois Guillemot, c. 1963 History The group (composed of Olaf, and Franois Pierrot) was formed in 1978 under the name "Brurier," referring to the eponymous character , Deputy Commissioner San Antonio novels of the writer Frederic Dard. Their style of music based on that of Metal Urbain : a voice, a drum machine and an electric guitar full. At their inception, "Brurier" often change name: they called successively "Brurier rebel", "Brurier True", "Brurier Army", "Brurier Monk," "Bruriers UTDM", "Brurier Fighter," "Plague "," Barbed Wire "," Poli-Mili "... Group members also change. Pierrot, the guitarist, is called up, then, having deserted, was forced to stay in prison. To replace it, then make the call to Bruriers guitarist Guernica , Loran, who soon joined the group permanently. In December 1982 , Olaf, also left military service in Germany , has announced he is leaving to Francis Group. Francis Loran and then decided to do a farewell concert and put an end to the career of Brurier. As a sign of mourning, they adopt a new name: "Black Brurier. The farewell concert will be held on February 19 1983 at the factory in Pali-Kao (a former paper of the twentieth arrondissement of Paris hosting the Fringe's most "alternative" artists in Paris). It was at this concert they dress up for the first time. Instead of being a finale, this show propels them forward. After signing with a small label ( VISA ), the second concert takes place in Brurier Black Room The Rocket before 1000 spectators. The welcome is warm and the group will take up to three times Lobotomy to please his audience. The Black Brurier distinguished themselves in another impromptu concert in front of the Liberty's (a box connected to the Latin Quarter ). Following a disagreement with the manager of the facility, the group decided to play for the club on the sidewalk. Indeed, the box had clogged the air intakes to push consumption. The police arrived at the scene but the public will not let them get close to Brurier, which will continue to play their music. During 1985 , Black began a tour Brurier throughout France, but continues with his "bad habits". The wild Brurier organize a concert on a bus the day of an event for the unemployed. Philippe Reniche, chorister, was tortured and murdered on the night of August 15th 2007 by Jason Lemaitre Caillaud and Jimmy who made hitchhiking on his way as he left a nightclub . Discography Brurier Black was reissued on CD in 2004 on their label Zone World Folklore. A vinyl edition is also in progress. It is also freely listenable on the group's website.
