Bando Graffiti Artist
Philip Lehman, Bando said, is a graffiti artist in Paris the year one thousand nine hundred eighty - 1990 , but also a record producer.
Summary |
He discovered the graffiti in New York and was influenced by Dondi White. In France , he founded the Bomb Squad 2 in 1983. He met in Paris Dutch Shoe , who notes his graffiti on the Seine, and the TCA ( The Chrome Angels ), a collective UK whose most famous member, Mode 2 , then moved to Paris and was greatly painted with Bando. Bando is also making a few artists come to Paris from New York as JonOne , who had previously met the designer Gigi Paris to New York. Play knowing his legend, a strong and unquestionable talent with an advance on some hip-hop European stammering, Bando had a considerable influence on a generation of artists and collectives (which is often the creator as CTK example).
Music
In the early 1990s, he started producing music with the label Pure Records , founded with Aldo Rosati and compiling music tracks funk. He then moved to New York where he founded a new label Desco Records , with Gabe Roth. The different tastes of both partners to grow the separation: while Roth loves soul clear to the brass shiny, Lehman seeks to get the sound of a raw music, as one might save it in a cellar forty years ago. Each share thus its side and climbs Bando label Soul Fire Records.
