Aqueduct Of Augustus Naples

The Aqueduct of Augustus is an ancient Roman aqueduct in the region of Naples. Built around 33 BC. AD on the orders of Emperor Augustus , he had to supplement the Marcia Aqueduct , and Aqueduct Claudia. It supplied water to eight cities in the Bay of Neapolis as Pompeii , Stabiae and Nola , and ended after 96 km into the piscina mirabilis port of Miseno.

Little remains of this structure are still visible today.

It is the decoration of a novel by Robert Harris , Pompeii.
