Antigonids
The Antigonids are a dynasty Macedonian founded by Antigonus the fourth century BC. AD It disappears with Perseus of Macedonia in 167 BC. BC , after his defeat at the battle of Pydna which ends the third Macedonian war.
Under Antigonids, Macedonia is experiencing a booming economy. Pella and Thessaloniki are important. The kingdom's foreign policy focuses on central Greece, the Aegean Sea and the Straits of the Hellespont.
