Aeneas
Aeneas (in Greek / in Latin meaning " copper " Its origins Anchises belonged to the royal family of Troy , after the race of Dardanus. While herding his flocks on Mount Ida , near Troy, Aphrodite met him and fell in love with him, touched by her beauty. He joined her and gave her a son, Aeneas. Anchises Aphrodite ordered never to reveal their relationship. For doing so, one evening he had been drinking and was drunk, Zeus punishes Anchises who was struck by lightning and became lame (or blind depending on version) until the end of his life. Caused by the abduction of Helen , wife of the king of Sparta , Menelaus , the Trojan war pitted the famous Trojan hero, as Hector , and Greek as Ajax the Great , Achilles and the famous Odysseus , son of Laertes and King of Ithaca. Aeneas participate: he was severely wounded by Diomedes , but his mother Aphrodite saved him. She was wounded by Diomedes in turn and fled on Mount Olympus. Apollo Aeneas hid in a cloud and carried him to Pergamos , where Artemis nursed. Return to battle, Aeneas is illustrated as one of the best Trojan warrior, and he shoots including Orsiloque Crthon, Aphareus, Jase and Medon. About to be wounded by Achilles , he was again saved by a god, Poseidon. On the death of Hector, he became the main bulwark of the Trojans. When Troy fell to the Achaeans with the famous trick of Odysseus, Aeneas fled with Misenus his father Anchises , his friends Achates , Sergestus and Acmon , the doctor Iapyx , his wife Creusa (he was unfortunately obliged to surrender as ordered gods Aphrodite and in particular, or wandered, according to tradition) and his son Ascanius , also known as Julius, the Lares and Penates and Mimas as a basis for the wishes of the new Trojan Gods in Hesperia (now Italy ). At the urging of Hera ( Juno ), Turnus declared war on Aeneas and Turnus lost but was killed and his people captured. Ascanius, the son of Aeneas the Roman writer Virgil called lulus, then founded Alba became its king. Aeneas and Lavinia had a son, Silvius. They greeted the sister of Dido, Anna Perenna who committed suicide when she learned of Lavinia's jealousy. Finally Aeneas founded the city of Lavinium in honor of his wife Lavinia became the god and indigestion after his death. According to the story of Virgil, Romulus and Remus were the descendants of Aeneas through their mother Rhea Silvia , and son of the god of war in March.
